When I was a little girl, I loved Dale Evans & Roy Rogers. I had a red cowgirl outfit, skirt and vest with white plastic fringe and, of course, a red hat with white plastic cording. But it wasn’t only the outfit that I love, although that certainly had a lot to do with it, but Dale was so brave, kind and true. Plus she rode Buttermilk like a champ, sang and dance when needed and, let’s face it Roy was pretty darn cute.
